Studio C Bridal Sand Dunes Shoot
This shoot was brought together by makeup artist Emma Mcgill, who brought together a range of creatives to showcase Studio C Bridal latest collection that consist of eight gowns and dresses.
Caitlyn Elliott designed and transformed the materials to make modern yet timeless bridal gowns. The talented designer has a strong background in costume design for theatre, making her a confident choice when entrusting someone to create your dream gown. Caitlyn is focused on creating gowns exclusively for the individual bride, and can also make pieces for your bridal trousseau, completing your look for your wedding day. “…beyond the dress is the bride’s trousseau – all her accompanying accessories for her wedding day. I have a range of one of a kind heirloom lace garters, millinery veils and fascinators, and other accessories…”
The collection was heavily influenced by all eras of history, from full romantic skirts of the 50’s, to the more contemporary designs of today. The Waterfall dress, a modern design with a classic A line silhouette includes pockets, perfect for keeping your lipstick, or lets be honest – your snacks close by! Each dress is customisable to suit the shape of the bride and the season she chooses to marry in.
For the shoot, My Little Peony gathered wild florals and transformed them into bouquets of strong contrast against the pale sand, perfect colours to complement a beach wedding. Emma McGill created flawless looks for each bride, from vintage glam to a glowing soft natural look, to complement the bridal attire. In keeping with the relaxed theme, the brides forwent shoes and enjoyed a stroll amongst the coastline.
Filmed by Dan Le and Jei Strolin , the “behind the scenes” video gives a highlight of the warm autumn day, a little inspiration for brides seeking a beach wedding with a contemporary palette for any time of year.
